School with No Windows is a story of a principal's unyielding committment to children. This recollection of events is told through the eyes of a father who has seen school leaders, teachers, and the community galvanize to tackle the ongoing educational demands and needs of the lowest performers. Together, they turn around a school with no windows!
Much like the video above by Grade Level Reading, School with No Windows and Edward Gaston share the hard truth of how poverty impacts our community while offering specific steps to realign and leverage our most vulnerable citizens.
Through his work as a presenter and author, Mr. Gaston, an economic development professional, shares his view of community transformation through a clear lens.
